Deemed a "rare gem" with the "it" factor" and a "notable artist" Tessa Farrell is one of the rare talents in Hollywood who has the ability to do it all... producing, editing, directing, screenwriting and acting. Originally from Texas, as a teenager Tessa was scouted at a dance club and asked to perform in NBA Spurs player, Tony Parker's French music video "Balance-Toi". After graduating with honors from the film school at The University of Texas, Tessa landed a recurring appearance on HBO's Entourage as a supermodel alongside Eminem in season 4. Tessa quickly became dead-set on making movies for a living and began studying at various studios while shooting commercials for Nike, Apple, Dish Network, Dodge, Allegra D, Federal Credit Union and others. After her relocation to Hollywood, Tessa caught the eye of actor Ty Granderson Jones from Con Air and was asked to star and co-produce his action film Diamond. Tessa's "amazing, compelling, charismatic and graceful" performance secured her a nomination for Best Female Action Performer of the Year in the International Action on Film Festival. Tessa's drive to break female stereotypes inspired her to quit auditioning and write her own roles. In 2018, Tessa created God Speed, Sin, The Little Blonde That Could and Fearless as a one woman crew. Tessa also competed in Canon's 4k Fashion Filmmaking Competition by starring, writing and directing All Dolled Up: The Craftsman and His Creation which won runner up for Best Picture. Tessa's talent and vision caught the attention of retired Baywatch actor/upcoming film producer, Steve Dimon, inspiring him to choose her as the screenwriter to rewrite a script based on the incredible true story of Kate Adamson's pontine stroke survival explained in her book "Paralyzed But Not Powerless." Tessa is also in talks to star in the movie, tentatively titled The One. Tessa was born in Scottsdale, Arizona to Catherine McGinley, a real estate agent, and Scott Farrell, a budding sci-fi novelist. Tessa has one younger sister, Kelsey, and two younger half brothers, Ryan and Shane. Tessa has Italian as well as Irish, Cherokee, and German ancestry. Tessa started walking at 9 months, and by age 3, was active in theater, gymnastics, dance, girl scouts and choir. When Tessa isn't acting, she's hard at work developing movies to star in.
